Filling in the brow can often sound simpler than it actually is, and you are not always completely sure that you are doing it right. Here we list five common mistakes when filling in your eyebrows - and how to solve them.

1. You pluck the brows in connection with your styling.

We've probably all stood in front of the mirror with fixed eyebrows, only to then start examining which hairs are ruining your perfectly framed brows. Picking your brows is not bad, but it can damage you and your brows in several different ways. For example, you risk plucking hairs that are actually needed for the overall shape of your brows, and the denser you pluck, the more difficult it is to discern the natural shape. When you start picking hair strands every other day, you also disturb the growth cycle of the hair follicles. This leads to your brow hairs never really recovering, and can therefore in some cases lead to the hair follicles dying and ceasing to produce new hair.

So don't be afraid to let your brows grow out, you're doing yourself and your brows a favor. Plocka would rather be third until every fourth week, and if you have the opportunity - go to someone professional who helps you! You can read more about our hair removal method threading here .

2. You match the brow with your hair colour

Many people think that the best color for their brows is the one that matches the hair color. This may be true if you like very natural eyebrows, but to give your face definition and even luster, we recommend always going a shade darker than your hair color. A quick solution if you don't like coloring your brows is to use a colored brow gel instead. It gives a quick and fixed result in just a few minutes and also disappears at the end of the day. A bonus is that the brows often look fuller when you go a shade darker, since the strands become more prominent, and who doesn't like that?

Our colored brow gel T int & Fiber Brow Gel not only adds color but also contains 3% fibres. It functions much like a fixed mascara for your brows - colour, shape and volume!

3. You are pressing too hard.

An all too sharp brow is an all too angry brow! A common mistake many make is to fill in the brows too strongly. Eyebrows that are sharp or angular often look very painted on and can give your face an unnecessarily harsh impression.

If you have difficulty not pressing too hard when styling your brows with a brow pencil, we recommend using a brow pencil that is creamier in texture. This type of brow pencil tends not to be as pigmented as the harder variety, which means that you can more easily adjust your styling if it turns out to be too sharp after all. Another tip is to use a brow gel instead. Then you get the same plump effect, but with a much more natural result. A brow gel slides over the straw and covers the existing one, which makes it difficult to get everything too sharp or even fail! Be easy on the hand and work successively - it is always easier to add than to take away.

We recommend Brow Twist to everyone who is looking for a simple and creamy brow pencil that adds color and fullness.

4. You don't match your brows to your styling.

Most people have a brow styling that they always turn to - whether it's for work, a nice dinner or a party. It can be nice to know exactly how the brows will turn out and how long they will take, but adapting your brow styling to your entire look can do more than you think!

Your eyebrows are the most important accessory of your face. If you are betting on a festive make-up with a lot of eye shadow, a pair of fluffy ones can be a nice addition to balance out the harshness with a pair of softer brows. If, on the other hand, you go for a natural make-up with a colorful lip, a pair of defined brows can break off the femininity, mjuka genom att addera nogt tuffare och hart.

5. You don't finish with a fixing product.

No matter how you like to style your brows, a finishing, fixing product is always a good idea. It not only makes the brows look fuller and more fixed, it also extends the durability of your brow styling. Spending all those minutes in the morning to get that perfect brow is almost a waste if it doesn't last at the end of the day. There is a whole range of fixing brow products and something that fits all; transparent brow gel , colored brow gel , brow soap and brow wax.
